Lace, Swiss Embroideries and Couture Trims
Kiyo Design has an extensive inventory of the finest French and English laces, Cluny laces, tatted laces, Swiss embroideries and couture trims. French laces (edges, insertions and beading) are white, ivory and black. Most are 90% cotton and 10% nylon which is the industry standard for fine heirloom sewing. A few are 100% silk. Swiss embroideries are primarily white and 100% cotton batiste or organdy. Swiss embroideries include edges under 3 1/2", edges 5 - 7", entredeux, insertions, insertions with entredeux, beading, 27" flounces and guipures. Many of our embroideries are also available in champagne or ecru.

Embroidered Edge with Beading
An embroidered edge has a patterned edge, and is used to trim the edge of a garment's hem, sleeve, or collar. These Swiss embroideries combine with an entredeux and beading. These trims eliminate sewing steps.
